ABOUT SPACE CITY GROUP
MEET SPACE CITY GROUP
I’m Sharie Flores, founder of Space City Group.
Helping Houston grow fearlessly
My Story
I built this company around a simple belief: businesses grow when they get the right people in the right seats at the right time.
My background is in HR, recruiting, and organizational strategy, but my work has always been about something bigger than HR. I’m interested in how companies grow — how they hire, how they lead, how they build teams people are proud to be part of, and how they create the structure to take on what comes next.
I started my career working inside organizations, solving people problems from the ground up. Over time, that evolved into helping business owners across Houston recruit critical talent, strengthen their organizations, and navigate the messy realities that come with growth.
Today, Space City Group is being built to do that work at a larger scale.
We partner with Houston companies across professional, industrial, and health and safety environments. Sometimes that means finding the person a company has struggled to hire. Sometimes it means helping an owner build the infrastructure behind a growing team. Either way, the goal is the same: help good companies become stronger companies.
I have an MBA, but most of what I know about business came from building one — making payroll, winning clients, losing clients, hiring people, making mistakes, fixing them, and learning that growth rarely happens in a straight line.
I’m deeply committed to Houston. I want to build companies here, create jobs here, work with the people building this city, and contribute to what Houston becomes next.
That’s ultimately what Space City Group is about.
